Hi there fellow card makers...wasn't sure how I was going to interpret this pic from Crazy 4 Challenges #217 but I'm glad I went with the clocks because I'm really happy how it turned out. I distress coloured some water colour card and then ran it though the cuttlebug with the clock embossing folder, ran the versamark clear pad over the raised areas and heat embossed it with silver embossing powder. I tied it in with the pic with the 2014 banner, a happy birthday sentiment that I could easily add a number to represent the age of the recipient in 2014. Best Wishes on your Birthday
Wow this card came together for me so quickly after I found the roses designer paper which worked for me with the Curtain Call January 1 challenge - Smitten. This is a new blog challenge for me and I love the colours, mine are a bit subtler but I like them and I've with this with the layout at Just Us Girls #222. Thanks for taking a peek

Dream Big Happy Birthday
!!!!!! mmm I've been playing with distress inks again and just loved how this one turned out using TH Crushed Olive and Chipped Sapphire, and I've based the card on the Retro Sketch #96 - it's for a friend who's celebrating a very special birthday. Hope you're enjoying your week...cheers and thanks for taking a peek Robyn
Shabby Roses Birthday
I've made this "So Ramantic" themed card for a dear elderly relative of mine in the UK and later today I need to brave the rain and go and post it. I've used the Shabby Tea Room #200 photo for my inspiration and added two little ribbon roses with an organnza bow, some die cut foliage and pink pearls. Thanks for taking a peek Robyn What's on my workdesk, Wednesday #240
"Crickey" where does the week go....already Wednesday again so I can take a pic of my desk to share on Julias blog, If you'd like to know more click on her name - these a bucket load of creative people out there sharing their workspaces.
Today mine is pretty neat but as you can see I've a few project piles on the left - does anyone else do that - start on a card and while searching for elements and ideas end up collecting bit for other cards. On left of my laptop are a few backgrounds I made by distress inking an embossing folder, spritzing the card and running it through the machine...I was impressed and one of them is part of a card pile. And the second pic shows the result of my friend Vikki stating how often we see other card makers desk/rooms that are all so organised with their bits colour co-ordinated etc......so I had hubby accompany me to the St Vinnies store and there was this shelf unit just waiting for me. So I've turned it sideways and spent a little time Saturday sorting my flowers and ribbons into containers - yippee, now their close at hand ready for me to use :-) and thanks for taking a peek Robyn
