Hi surprisingly I'm back again today....with a Less is More card for their Sketch challenge for Week 52. I have a new stamp set from Chocolate Baroque I've been wanting to use and the simple lines of this image goes well with the less is more theme. If you look closely at the text you'll see I mucked up but oh well that's stamping for you. Thanks for taking a peek...

Scrapbook Boutique challenge, the Sweet Stop
Well I'm on a roll this morning - here's my card for the Scrapbook Boutique January challenge using purple, white and green and also the Sweet Stop sketch challenge SSS143. Purple is one of my favorite colours and I haven't made one for quite awhile so it was nice to see the little purple cakes pop-up at Scrapbook Boutique. I also made my paper flower using the Sizzix Birds and Blooms Flower Press die which I'm mighty impressed with. Thanks for taking a peek.
Deconstructed Sketch, Play Date Cafe challenge
Back again this weekend and my 'friend' card is based on two challenges....the Deconstructed Sketch DS36 and the Play Date Cafe colours #PDCC116 - using plum, pear and mouldy cheese. I really loved both of these challenges - the colours are gorgeous - thank you for your inspiration ladies.. and thanks for taking a peek.

Hello this late Saturday afternoon....we have a cyclone off the coast so much to our please it has rained on and off for the past day so our high 30deg temps are now low 30s and we're feeling cooool.
Anyway today I've not followed a sketch or challenge plan just made my card from one I'd seen by Becca at Amazing Paper Grace...it was ages ago and I can't find the card but she makes absolutely gorgeous cards...thanks Becca for your inspiration...and thanks for taking a peek

Deconstructed Sketch 35
Hi again, here's my take on the Deconstructed sketch for this week. I changed my mind a number of times with the colours but am now happy with the effect...I have a pack of papers that aren't very user friendly so covering them up seems the best solution. Thanks for taking a peek
The Sweet Stop challenge SSS142, Christmas
Christmas Thursday...and here are two more to add to my pile. I really like the sketch from The Sweet Stop blog so used it here although it's with the theme Non Traditional Valentine, never mind, it's a great sketch....thank you ladies. Thanks for taking a peek.

House Mouse challenge 111, Less is More challenge Week 51, The Sweet Stop
I have put together this weeks card using three blog challenges...that must be a record for me.
Less is More Challenge - this weeks theme is "Cut it Out" and House Mouse Mondays challenge to create a card in Black and White and The Sweet Stop blog challenge this week is Non Traditional Valentine. So hard for me to not put some colour on this card so I used glitter to give it some sparkle. The heart cut out I created with my oval scalloped spellbinders and decorative edge scissors and I inked the raised hearts black on white card on my cuttlebug embossing folder. Thanks for taking a peek.
PS...Whoops I didn't really follow the sketch for the Sweet Stop challenge, my mistake, sorry

Card Patterns: Weekly Sketch 148, Play Date Cafe PDCC 115
Hi everyone, today I've chosen a new blog sketch - Card Patterns: Weekly Sketch to base my card...I actually saw Chupas card for this sketch and really liked it...so here it is. To help with my colour selection I've used the Play Date Cafe suggestions - Slate, Moss, Bark and Burlap. I've made this card for a friends birthday and she's an earthy type so these colours suited her. I'm please with my card using some new colours. Thanks for taking a peek..

Mojo 224
If you've seen my previous post today you will understand that Thursdays are now my Christmas card making day. So here I've made a card using the MojoMonday sketch, I didn't even pack away my stamps, papers or ribbons. Thanks for taking a peek
Less is More challenge week 50 - One layer with birds
briefly it's because this year is going to be exceptionally busy for hubby and I....a wedding in April and then packing to relocate in June and then we'll be on the road....sadly I'm not sure how much crafting stuff I'll be able to take and as I have 80 odd Christmas cards to make I've decided to make Thursdays my Christmas card day for the next 5 months and hopefully by then I'll have enough....so this year might see me making more double ups of the same card. These cards for the Less is More challenge are simply stamped with my Watermark Versamark pad and embossed with coloured embossing powders.....I have a few of these tucked away in a drawer;maybe they're too old and the glitter might rub off - time will tell. They are very sparkly some better than others. Thanks for taking a peek...

The Sweet Stop challenge SSS 141
I started to put this card together on Sunday for The Sweet Stop blog and after some tweeking have come up with this card I could use for a number of occasions. The colours are a bit unusual for me but I think the blue helps it a little. Thanks for taking a peek....

Lilypad Palette challenge
Hi there again this weekend, this morning I've made this card to post on the Lily Pad Cards blog. I chose these bright colours from the two offered and I'm very happy with my card....used some fabric flowers I've had for ages...you know those ones that you're saving for a special card - well here they are. The main embossed colour on my card is much darker teal colour than the photo shows.
Thanks for taking a peek...
