Tagging Special Hugs for You Friend

Here again with a tag card... for three challenges
Back to Basics and Beyond challenge #23 - Tic Tac Toe - I'm using the left column Pink, Tag, Twine.
AAA Cards CAS #135 - One Plus Three - Stamped sentiment, Die cut, Inked stencil pattern and one matted layer - also Optional Twist - Friend
Time Out challenge celebrating their 5 years with challenge #131 - Hugs, Kisses and a Lot of Birthday Wishes.... I focused on Hugs.
I sponged pink Distress Oxide through my stencil onto a die cut tag, used my small lettering set to stamp my sentiment and die cut the 'hugs' from silver glitter cardstock. To finish I matted the tag to a pink background, added twine and a gem.
Thanks for visiting, I really appreciate it.... happy card making.

Wishing You the Happiest of Birthdays

Finishing off some WIPs today, not sure why we do this but I do have quite a few half completed projects.  So finally my bird card comes together with a DOX background and stamped sentiment to finish....does anyone else have trouble photographing Distress Oxides - none of mine are true colours because my bird and background both have lots more lime green in them.  I am playing along with Shopping Our Stash SOS#345 - Put a Bird On It. Also helping Time Out Challenges celebrate their 4th birthday - with challenge #105 - I'm inspired to make a Birthday card.
Thanks for visiting and enjoy your day

Happy Birthday

The lovely lily on Bev's Inspirational card at Time Out Challenges #91 had me making this card. Instead of a rainbow affect I painted the background of the stamped lily in gradual shades of yellow and added a slight touch of coral to the flower center, with minimal extra colours on the stem and stamen. I stamped the sentiment across the bottom and decided to include it with the image panel.  A lovely bright yellow background layer on a white card to finish.
I am also posting to Simon Says Monday challenge - Stamp It and also Simon Says Wednesday challenge with the same theme as the celebrate 'STAMPember'.  Thanks for taking a peek

Bon Voyage

This card was inspired by the photo inspiration at Time Out Challenges #89 - Home Sweet Home also the theme at The Male Room #66 - Maps/ Coordinates.  I used some designer paper displaying a world map and compasses for the background and a stamped 'trunks' image from the photo, and to finish added two stamped sentiments.  Thanks for taking a peek

Life is Beautiful

I was inspired by Time Out Challenge #80 and Simon Says Monday challenge to create a card with a rainbow....  and this little scrap of blue card was begging to be used... so I've hand drawn on my rainbow with pencisl and stamped my tree silhouette over the top.   I painted the rainbow with Perfect Pearls so it is all sparkly. Then to finished I added a stamped sentiment tag with the edges inked in pale blue and 3D mounted.  I am also going to post to Addicted to Stamps and More #236 - Anything Goes challenge.  Thanks for taking a peek

Thinking of You

Christmas cards have been occupying most of my card making time lately so it is nice to have a change of sentiment... this card is for the Time Out challenge #44 - CASEing a card made by Karen (see below).  I masked off a rectangle on my base card and stamped this frangipani background stamp and over stamped with the sentiment ... finished with a small flower stamp and pearl center.  Thanks for taking a peek

Friend

I have had this cat stamp for a very very long time and it's so sad how many times he's been used...I think I'll name him Arthur after our grey  puss.  He stamped beautifully with Distress Ink and I gave him a light spray for a grey/brown tinge.  Then what to do...I decided to go cheery and found this lovely DP with a brown that would match and in the corner a neat little band of stripes which I cut and slipped my cat image under. Then I found theses stripes in the same DP pack and stamped a grid and layer the strips across the bottom. Finished this card with a simple 'friend' stamp.

Best Wishes

I have been playing around with my stencils....not something I find easy.... so this card is a kind of experiment. I used a Distress Inked wash on the background card and sponged the chevrons in three different colours down the side. Then used some gold coloured texture paste over another stencil in the top corner. When this was all dry I stamped the bird image and sentiment, and added a few more tiny birds. I used the Distress Inks to colour the image. I've used the Stamplorations #34 sketch for my layout and am posting to Simon Says Wednesday challenge - to use stencils and as it has a 'colourful grunge' feel I'm also posting to Time Out Challenge #31. I used the palette at Colour Q#292 but missed the post.  Thanks for taking a peek

Rainy Day Fun

This morning I've finished off my House Mouse and Friends card - HMFMC192 - the theme is April Showers - aren't they the cutest umbrellas and don't we all love to stand in the rain and get a little bit wet especially when it hasn't rained for months.
I created the background panel using mists and stencils and then not having any rainbow card I made this panel with my distress Inks and paintbrush so I'm also playing along with Time Out challenges #29 with my rainbow and as this is an 'Ombre' effect I'm posting to CAS.ology Week 143 as well.  Friday Mashup #206 - Singing in the Rain  also have a wonderful prompt photo with 'Umbrellas' as a theme.  Thanks for taking a peek Robyn

Best wishes

Another super pre stamped image in my stash drawer this week has come in handy for this weeks challenge at Inkspirational #78 - image of a woman. Doesn't she look stylish in her "flapper" (cloche) hat. So I decided just to colour her hat and play with two challenges asking for Black and White and my choice of one other colour.....Just Us Girls #285 and Time Out Challenges #27. I have used the sketch at Fusion Card Challenge for my layout.
Thanks for taking a peek Robyn

Don't Forget To Smile

After browsing the challenges this afternoon, I couldn't resist playing along at Time Out Challenges #26 who are ****Celebrating their 1st Birthday****.
It was this designer paper I had in mind and I wasn't sure I was ever going to use it but there you go - a frame theme!!!
I cut the centers out of two frames and placed a couple of stamped images...twigs I thought because of the inspiration photo and then a bird singing out loud for the birthday blog.  Then I made my own me to go with the sentiment on a 'new' set I bought this week, and even found a camera to stamp, to finish off the card. Simple but I like it...thanks for taking a peek Robyn
