Merry Christmas

Somewhere in FB or Pinterest I saw this technique - gold embossed stamping on red card and sponged black edges.... I selected some Christmasy foliage stamps for my card and to finish added a shiny gold die cut sentiment with shadow die cut backdrop and attached to a black card. I love this technique and have already made a floral birthday card, I'm going to experiment with different coloured card.  I am play along with three Christmas themed challenges as we replace card making with Christmas festivities - cooking and eating ... mmmmm

Thanks for visiting, and I wish you allllll a VERY HAPPY CHRISTMAS, and no doubt I'll be back before the new year - HUGS

Best Wishes

I used a crackle stencil to create the background for this card... used Versamark and gold Perfect Pearls, onto a lightly sponged pink card.  Die cut two leaves in pearl card one in cream, one in rose and the two mini flying birds in the cream... also stamped the sentiment in dark rose onto a strip of pearly cream card..  To finish I die cut a double stitched frame and used foam strips to attached to a cream card.   I am playing along with STAMPloration- The Stencil - Always Anything Goes December challenge ...  AND  ... I Was Thinking About You

A quick and easy CAS card for the prompt at Addicted to CAS #174 --- Tree.
I die cut a circle window in scrap and sponge blue DI gradually fading to white in the center on a white card panel.  Then stamped the tree in grey ink - twice and then the sentiment also in grey ink. And attached to a white card.  Thanks for visiting, I really appreciate it, happy stamping

Happy Birthday

Time this afternoon to finish off my card with a sentiment stamped and gold embossed on vellum.  I just love this large floral die  - I die cut it on white card and collected the large flower petals, then sponged them up with Distress Oxide inks and replaced  them in the diecut.  Found this smooched Distress Ink watercoloured background in my stash and trimmed it to fit the frame.  Attached this to a red card and attached the sentiment strip.  I am playing along with The Flower Challenge #39 - Use a Die  ....  AND   .... also Happy Little Stamper Anything Goes with Dies December challenge.  Thanks for visiting, I really appreciate it - happy card making.

Christmas tree card

O Christmas Tree is the theme for Anything Crafty over at The Daring Cardmakers - and that just worked in wonderfully as I've been making folded cards for friends... and one just happened to be one of those triangle folded trees... easy as to make and this size fits in  the usual C6 envelope.  Cut, folded and covered the sides with pp and then included a mini flat magnet to hold the flap down... and finished off with a fussy cut sentiment label from the 12x12 paper set. I made five cards from the one pp sheet..    I am also playing along with Watercooler Wednesday  WWC251 - Dawns's All About Occasions challenge.
Thanks for visiting, I  really appreciate it,  ---- and HAPPY CHRISTMAS

Joy

A little bit of dabbling today with some UFOs on my desk - found this already stamped tag with a whoops where I'd dropped the 'Joy' stamp and got a double image - I quite liked it, so added some flowers and pine leaves... it's colours suited just wonderfully with the challenge board at The Daring Cardmakers December challenge... so I've browns, reds and touch of green, also 'Joy', tag, twine, pinecones, berries and snowflake... so there are quite a few elements from the pic included.  I found some gorgeous rustic red PP and, fussy cut the pine cones, die cut a gold glittery snowflake and cheery red berries from my stash - all arrange onto a brown card.  I am also playing along with Just Us Girls #516 - Wild Card - Anything Goes   AND    Stamping Sensations December challenge - Anything Goes.   Thanks for visiting, I really appreciate it - happy card making

Four Calling Birds.....

I'm going to pretend my four cute birds in a tree are the 'Four Calling Birds'  from the Christmas song..... stamped in grey ink and coloured with pencils and some silver glitter pen for the baubles. Diecut the panel with torn edge die and framed it with dark blue card onto a white card... decided not to mess it up with a sentiment.  I am playing along again with Double 'D' challenge - Twelve Days of Christmas Part 1 - Days 1-6.  Thanks for visiting, I really appreciate it - happy card making

Best Wishes

Yesterday afternoon I was able to finish off a few cards made with one of the panels of my recent colouring challenge.... these lillies were stamped in grey ink and coloured with pencils. I used a die cut frame raised with foam sheet on a lovely bright orange card.  To finish I stamped and silver embossed the sentiment on an orange strip.  I am playing along with Watercooler Wednesday WWC250  - Helen's Feminine "Anything Goes" challenge  ...  AND  ...  Yes Virginia's - Show and Share for December.     Thanks for visiting, I really appreciate it - happy card making
