I've made this "So Ramantic" themed card for a dear elderly relative of mine in the UK and later today I need to brave the rain and go and post it. I've used the Shabby Tea Room #200 photo for my inspiration and added two little ribbon roses with an organnza bow, some die cut foliage and pink pearls. Shabby Roses Birthday

"Crickey" where does the week go....already Wednesday again so I can take a pic of my desk to share on Julias blog, If you'd like to know more click on her name - these a bucket load of creative people out there sharing their workspaces.
Today mine is pretty neat but as you can see I've a few project piles on the left - does anyone else do that - start on a card and while searching for elements and ideas end up collecting bit for other cards. On left of my laptop are a few backgrounds I made by distress inking an embossing folder, spritzing the card and running it through the machine...I was impressed and one of them is part of a card pile. And the second pic shows the result of my friend Vikki stating how often we see other card makers desk/rooms that are all so organised with their bits colour co-ordinated etc......so I had hubby accompany me to the St Vinnies store and there was this shelf unit just waiting for me. So I've turned it sideways and spent a little time Saturday sorting my flowers and ribbons into containers - yippee, now their close at hand ready for me to use :-) and thanks for taking a peek Robyn

Love and Best Wishes
Merry Christmas
Hello and I'm wondering if there are other crazy people out there that have 3 or 4 cards on the go and then end up creating a whole new one - just like I did with this card for CAS(E) this Sketch CTS#58. I'm just a few days back at my desk after a months holiday and busy checking out different challenges I'd like to tackle and on the way I see other bloggers and more techniques, soI stop have a go or piece together some coloured card, dies cuts, ribbon etc and so now I have little groups congregating on my desk....waiting!!This sketch was great for the new stamp I got over the break from Chocolate Baroque...Cheers and thanks for taking a peek, RobynSunday, 5 January 2014
Smile.....a beautiful day
Another quick card from me this afternoon - a long one to fit a business envelope, using the Dynamic Duos #85 - Summer Starfruit and Garden Green :-( no stamping on this card as I just wanted to use this sentiment strip from a paper pack I have and the colour suited well. I've done some rearranging of my workspace and put all my flowers into jars on my desk also jars of ribbons so I can see them and use them. I think we're off for a late afternoon swim at the beach now to cool off. Thanks for taking a peek Robyn
celebrate just living
Happy, happy, happy here in Australia...the Aussie cricket team have just won 'the Ashes' back from the Poms in a 5 match whitewash...yeah!!
So quietly I've been making a card in the background using the layout from Freshly Made Sketches #117 and the colour theme from Less is More #153 - Winter Blues. Just used a few scraps from my blue card drawer and diagonally scored the background on my Scorepal. Cheers and thanks for taking a peek

SOS #132: Use The Last of Something
Hello blog visitors/card markers....it's been a while since I made a card for Mojo Monday so it's nice to be back . playing along with #326. I made this background paper with some left over distress ink I had on my pad and the card evolved around those colours, my card's not actually square but I hate cutting of the background paper. I used to make these little wire dragon flies ages ago and found this last one in my old trinket box - so I'm adding my card to the challenge at Shopping Our Stash #132 Cheers and thanks for taking a peek Robyn
A favourite 2013 card
Just Add Ink..."2013" A Year in Review!
Hi there this fine Sunday morning.....glad to be back at my desk, spending me time doing what I love. I noticed Just Add Ink had a challenge to just post a favourite card from the past year and this turned out to be a great time to reflect over the many different cards I've made, some with special people in mind others just because I'm addicted. There were too many favourites but I've decided on this one and it probably reflects my style and me as a person. I love the colours, the layers, the lace and little touch of bling and of course I love flowers. Hope you're enjoying your weekend, thanks for taking a peek Robyn
