July Card Chain Challenge Reveal

Here's my July Card Chain Challenge card that I sent off to Linda W in the USA.  I used circles, stitches and two colours from the palette.

I remembered I had this scribbly circle die and thought to use them as flowers... die cut from 'pineapple' yellow card and with a little 'peach' ink blended on the centers.  Then I used another stitched die that you would use to create a horizon line and laid them at different angles to create the leaves and stems. Mounted them onto a PP background and added a stamped die cut sentiment (from Jillibean).

Theme Options: Fish / Circles / Friendship

A trio of cards featuring butterflies, birds and blooms

Time to share a few more cards that have evolved from my desk over this month

This first card is for the Can You Handle the Pressure challenge - Anything Goes with a Twist of Butterflies.

Blended green Distress Inks over the leafy embossed border EF and stamped on the sentiment.... finished off with 3 die cut butterflies smooched in DI and spritzed with shimmer mist

Second card for the Triple B June challenge. ... with this lovely moodboard for inspiration.
No stamping on this card... used a pretty pink marbly background (from my Kaisercraft calendar), then die cut the stitched wavy edge on white card - lightly blended edge with pink DI.  Die cut the little bird and watercoloured with DI and finished with a die cut Hello sentiment.

Lastly an Any Occasion card - for two challenges...  Double 'D' Colour challenge - I've used the purple and blues as inspiration.
AND  Beautiful Blossoms challenge #6 - with a mood board in these colours too as inspiration.

I used a scalloped frame die and a number of my flower dies to create this little picture with a lovely patterned paper background - I smooched the flower edges with ink and added some white crystal drops for the flower centers

Sharing a few Christmas Cards..

About time I joined in some challenges...   It's challenge #75 at Christmas Kickstart and as always I'm happy to add to my Christmas stash.

So I've made a couple of 'teepee' folded cards and used little bit more from my stash of patterned papers.  Finished off with a stamped gold embossed sentiment and die cut Poinsettia flowers.

Next I have two more using the Mood board at Peace on Earth Christmas challenge #42

The Reds and Greens and Florals always catch my eye.

Stamped the same image and sentiments and embossed with both gold and silver EP.  Water coloured then used a shine silver and gold layer to frame the panels on matching red coloured cards.

And lastly a card using a set.. with  an embossing folder and co-ordinating stamp (I think it's Sizzix, loaned from a friend).  Not very well stamped but finished off with a die cut sentiment that I clear embossed.

Birthday Cards

No Spring flowers in our gardens on this side of the world, but some nice Autumn showers today to cool the air and freshen up the greenery in my garden.

Inspiration for my card today from the Mood Board at

Double 'D' - Flower challenge

Watercoloured my stamped image (Power Poppy - Simply Camellias), trimmed to fit a square card with matching pink layer  witha stamped white embossed sentiment (Happy Little Stampers - Fun Birthday Sentiments)

A couple more cards using up more of those gorgeous 12x12 pattern papers I've been saving for something special... well now's the time... too many pretty papers, just use them.

My May Card Chain Challenge card went off to Brenda in the UK
